Universal Islands of Adventure & Harry Potter World!!!

Spending one perfect day at Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida with three small children is the perfect way to begin the summer! Visiting Universal Orlando wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Harry Potter World.

While in Orlando, Florida my family and I had the pleasure of going to Universal Islands of Adventure . . . Universal Studios, Universal Orlando . . . Universal!!

We spent one glorious day at Universal Orlando and it was our favorite day in Florida from our vacation.

Sunday

6am: wake-up
7am: leave hotel
8am: check in to new hotel
9am: arrive Universal Islands of Adventure
10am: walk around with our mouths open taking everything in
10pm: leave Universal Islands of Adventure (begrudgingly)

JURASSIC PARK

TIPS FOR TODDLERS (HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS)

We did notice that a number of the rides had a 40-inch height requirement. Due to this, there were rides my children were not able to ride. My son was furious he didn’t meet the height requirement for Doctor Doom’s Fearfall — BUT - they will give your children a certificate that they can use the next time to get right ahead of the line once they grow a bit! If your children aren’t quite tall enough yet, that doesn’t mean there are not numerous rides and shows available for smaller kiddos!!
