Some of my kids favorite destinations occur in the fall at local pumpkin patches! There are so many fabulous Pumpkin Patches in the Chicagoland area that families could visit a different one each weekend in the fall and never have the opportunity to enjoy them all! All Seasons

Located in McHenry County in the suburbs of Chicago and a family favorite every year, All Seasons is the place to spend your fall weekends. They host daily pig races and magic shows and loads of family fun at the Barnyard. The Barnyard has a corn maze, a petting zoo with bunnies, rat rollers, giant swings, spider web, a few mini zip lines, pedal karts, a jumping pillow and a tube slide. There are also pony rides and apple cannons. Families have the opportunity to pick apples and pumpkins. Don't forget the apple cider donuts as they are the best in the area at All Seasons!

Goebbert’s

A fall wouldn't be complete without a visit to Goebbert's! My kids adore visiting each year for the animal farm animals. There is a large variety of pumpkins to select for carving every year. Activities to enjoy are a tractor ride, weekend pig races, the giant mechanical pumpkin-eating dinosaur and the awesome corn stalk maze. Enjoy the haunted house, pony rides, camel rides, a HUGE kiddie play area with a mini maze, the biggest jumping pillow!

Bengtson’s

Bengtson's is located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Your family will have a full day of fun here!  Bengston's hosts kiddie rides, roller coaster, a train, mining,  pumpkin chucker, a fun swing, a crazy 90-foot-tall slide and twirling honey pots; pig races all day long, tractor rides, a petting zoo; aKid Village for little people, and loads more. Sonny Acres Farm

Dive right in and head to the haunted barn! Visit the Dizzy Zone spinning tunnel, have a pony ride, enjoy a tractor ride, and the huge slide! They sell Halloween costumes and loads of carnival style food.  Loads of opportunity for fall photos!

Didier Farms

This is the spot for a silly string battle! There are pig races, a petting zoo and an opportunity to feed the birds in the Parakeet Exhibit! Ride the Camels for an adventure of a lifetime. The Pumpkin Festival hosts a kiddie carousel and ferris wheel, mining for gems, mini tractors, a corn hole, a straw bale mountain and corn stalk mazes and MORE! Didier has unusual pumpkins and gourds in an array of sizes and colors.

Stade’s Farm

The Autumn Festival at Stade's is always family favorite in the fall. There are tractor rides to the the pumpkin patches. Families can also enjoy the corn-launching cannon, pedal cars, a jumping pillow and a tractor tire pyramid.

Siegel’s

Siegel’s hosts 40 acres of family fun with so many attractions. There are tractor rides out to their pumpkin patches. Play areas for families with children, a Ghost Town Railroad, and a corn crib that is always a kid's favorite spot.

Odyssey Fun Farm

Odyssey Fun Park has a 15 acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, train rides and petting zoo.
