I have complied The Ultimate List of Halloween Movies on Netflix. Let's face it, during this spooky month, there are SOME MUST SEE Halloween Movies to see and Netflix has them all covered.
Halloween season is here, let's face it, it's been here for a bit now. We have decorated our front stoop with pumpkins and my daughters carved their pumpkins over the weekend. Their costumes were purchased weeks ago and our Halloween night plans of bashing on doors and screaming Trick or Treat with friends are set.
I remember when I was a child, we went trick or treating in a huge, massive group of friends. This was "back-in-the-day" when we went trick or treating unsupervised. We left and treated all through town, for hours, all by ourselves. I would come home with two bags FULL of candy, which I was never allowed to eat, go figure on that one!
When I reached my teenage years, scary movies were always on HBO, which everyone had and my friends and I would literally sit around all day during the summer and just watch scary movies. Or we would talk someone's mom into renting VCR tapes for us, because we weren't allowed to rent rated R movies and watch over and over movies like Poltergeist, My Bloody Valentine, Children of the Corn, The Howling, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare of Elm Street.
Now, my daughters are still pretty young and naive and I wouldn't let them watch any of these movies, but I am introducing these classics to my son. He thinks they are ridiculous and overly campy - which they are -- BUT, these are the movies I grew up watching and I LOVE THEM!
My son much prefers movies that I literally can not even watch today. He thinks it is hilarious to suggest we watch The Ring, Insidious, or The Grudge, because he knows there is no way I will ever watch these freaky movies. Give me Jeepers Creepers any day, but not the supernatural horror movies. I just can't watch them!
So, since it is October and Halloween is tomorrow, I thought it a great idea to highlight all the best Halloween Movies on Netflix! This is the perfect time to pack in all the scary movies you can handle.

I have already streamed through Stranger Things 2 on Netflix this past weekend since it Season 2 debuted on Friday and it was everything I wanted it to be! My son was so intrigued that he streamed Season 1 of Stranger Things and is almost done with Season 2! I'm a few episodes into Season 1 of Slasher and I love it! I adore Katie McGrath (as Sarah) because she was in Merlin, one of my favorite shows. Now, this list is not ALL that Netflix has to offer, these are just the movies or series that I have personally watched or streamed. Like I said earlier, there are some para-freaky-films that I will not watch, so obviously, those wouldn't make my list!

So, I am taking my daughters and some neighbor kids trick or treating this year and these kiddos were all over at our home yesterday, playing Skylanders. They all love Skyladers and they all stream Skylanders on Netflix! So here are some great tips to keep everyone safe tomorrow!

1) Always trick-or-treat in a group.
2) Stay in a well-lit area.
3) Look both ways before crossing the street.
4) Use a flashlight or reflective tape.
5) Always have an adult check your candy.
6) Remember to brush your teeth.
