I have been creating apple memories with my kids since they were toddlers. Visiting local apple orchards in our area have cemented wonderful memories in my kids hearts. We happened to have been able to visit one of our favorite apple orchards a couple of weeks ago and have been snacking on delicious apple treats every since.

I adore Fall and it is simply my favorite time of the year. My favorite season. My favorite weather. My favorite food. Today, I'm excited to share with you some of my favorite Fall apple recipes.
I think moments of connections come when we enjoy life’s small moments. If we slow down a bit and enjoy the simplest of things, we would enjoy the small moments more. The busyness of our fast paced lives tend to lose sight of what is important - - spending quality time with loved ones. The best gifts in our lives are enjoying our family. The blessings of eating and drinking together, listening and engaging with one another.
Every year we take the children apple picking at a local orchard that has become our favorite. It is a family outing that we look forward to every year and our day there never disappoints. This year there has been loads of construction on the tollway, so we opted for the back roads route.

Although many orchards in our area are not opening due to this years uncooperative weather over the spring and summer, our favorite apple orchard that was still creating family traditions. We were still able to take a wagon ride into the apple orchards. However, we could only explore and raom around the orchard instaed of actually picking apples ourselves.{we were able to choose from already picked apples in bins} It was still a great experience and a fabulous day.
I decided to actually take to task this week and shoot a staged photo of an apple (or at least attempt to). Naturally, I could have placed an apple in one of my child's hands and snapped off a gorgeous shot of an 'apple', but I always do that.
I wanted to actually challenge myself this week . . . I've been playing around with apples all week and this is what I came up with.
