Are you a Netflix member? I have been for years and have told all my family members, who are now avid fans of Netflix. My brother, who lives in the country in a rural are can not even get cable, but after I told him about Netflix, they have been able to enjoy amazing series and films again. We gift my husband's brother's family with Netflix a few years ago and every Christmas they request a renewal gift! My friends and I at work chat about what Netflix series to watch. (hint: The Crown - so good!!)
Now, Netflix members can download, in addition to streaming great series and films, at no extra cost the very same shows they are streaming at home. Essentially, you can stream Netflix offline.
When I told my so about this new aspect of Netflix, he was so happy. He sits at school for long periods waiting and is bored out of his mind. I don't allow him to use up all our shared data streaming at school, but now, he can download a series of something and watch it during lunch or other periods when the teachers give a study period during class instead.
To add a film or series to your offline streaming, simply ensure your Netflix app is up-to-date on your phone or tablet. Then just click the download button on the details page for the film or TV series your want to bring along with you and watch it later without an internet connection.
How many of you are traveling for the holidays? Download a few or all of your favorite series OR a new series you want to watch that has just been releases (hint: The OA). During the long drive or air flight, simply open up your Netflix app and stream your series offline whilst traveling to your holiday destination!

If you have small children (who am I kidding, my big kids love this new feature too), your holidays are just going to be that much easier . . . and quieter. This is a great app for my husband as well because he takes the train back and forth to work each day. He was complaining to me the other day that they normal train cars are so loud and the quiet cars super boring. Enter Netflix offline streaming.
