Chicago Fire Is On Fire #QuakerFuelsFire

I was first introduced to Chicago Fire over a decade ago while working with a number of colleagues from the UK. These men were avid fans of Chicago Fire and got me excited about watching soccer. I have not been as avid of a fan as my past colleagues, but I have listened when I hear how the team has been fairing.

My family was invited to see a Chicago Fire game this past weekend  by Quaker. We had never been to a live soccer game and I thought it would a great family outing. We all had an amazing afternoon cheering the Chicago Fire team on against the LA Galaxy. Sadly, they lost, but it still was a fabulous game.

My children were talking about attending a soccer games for weeks before we even went. They were excited and outdoors playing with our new Chicago Fire 2012 Tropheo Soccer Ball daily. I loved that the interest in attending a live soccer game and receiving a soccer ball encouraged my children to get outside and move. I love that I didn't even have to suggest activity to my kiddos. They were happy to get outdoors, move around and play soccer.

Their little hearts were getting a wonderful workout and their bodies were staying fit and healthy. Quaker would have been so proud. I think it is important that my children get regular exercise and I love that they don't even know they were exercising while playing with the Chicago Fire 2012 Tropheo Soccer Ball!

We had a gloriously, sunny day at Toyota Park and the Chicago Fire team fought hard against the LA Galaxy. THE FANS WERE AMAZING! The fans were amazing and infectious! My son and daughter were chanting along with all the wonderful Chicago Fire fans and team supporters! My favorite part of the game was watching all the Chicago Fire teammates use their heads so flawlessly.

Quaker were gracious hosts and my family had a fabulous afternoon. If you can get to a Chicago Fire game, I would encourage you to do so.  I know we will be back in the fall to see another game. Chicago Fire is fueled by Quaker and so are we!

Quaker sent me a lovely gift pack and they are allowing me to give one package away to one of my readers as well. I received a Chicago Fire 2012 Tropheo Soccer Ball, a pennant, a picnic blanket, and numerous Quaker products{Quaker Real Medleys Oatmeals, Old Fashioned Quaker Oats, Quaker Soft Baked Cookies, Quaker Chewy Bars & Quaker Oatmeal Squares}.
