My Thoughts: The Legend of Hercules is a fantasy adventure based on the Greek myth of Hercules, the demigod son of Zeus. Hercules is half-man and half-god blessed with strength. My son and I happen love any movie that is mythical in nature. We are quite intrigued by any and all things Greek. The Legend of Hercules is a great mix of ceremonial and realistic fighting and brutality. There are some really great sword fights and amazing battle scenes. The 3-D effects in this movie are really fantastic. You will not have to worry about horrify gory scenes for your tweens and teenagers. There is some kissing between Hercules and Hebe which may not be the best for your younger viewers, but appropriate for teenagers as there is not skin showing below the shoulders. The Legend of Hercules is a great mythical movie for you and your tween or teenagers.
