Synopsis: Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei prove that laughter is relative in this hilarious comedy that’s fun for the whole family! Old-school grandparents Artie (Crystal) and Diane (Midler) get more than they bargained for when they get stuck babysitting their type-A daughter’s (Tomei) overprotected kids. But things go from hectic to hysterical when Artie realizes the kids are running the house with their newfangled technology. By playing by his own rules, which include sugary snacks, old fashioned games and tough love, Artie manages to outsmart the kids and achieve the impossible- bring the family closer together!

My Thoughts: This movie is so seriously HILARIOUS! My kids laughed through the entire movie! I parent like Marisa Tomei, my husband does not, so our house is a bit chaotic. I wish I had a house that spoke to me like the home in this movie! My parents are no longer with me, so I had to reference my in-laws while relating to this movie, but that just made it all the more similiar! If you are looking for a great family focused movie that will make you feel good about how you parent and how you deal with your parents or in-laws. Parental Guidance is the family movie for you!
