Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Holiday Feasts

Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Show highlights bravery, honor and epic battles of steel and steeds for two hours. The action packed show is filled with horses, jousting knights, kings and princesses, an amazing falcon, serving wenches and a delicious feast.

During the Silly Season (the month of December), life can be quite hectic. I don't want to forget that my kids still need to spend time with their parents, just enjoying each other.  What better place to do that than at a Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Holiday Show!

I surprised my kids and I really thought was going to get some complaints from my teen son . . . who at this point in his life, hates everything I do or plan. When I told him we were heading to Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament for a Holiday Dinner, he jumped up and put his shoes on, with a smile! He told me Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament was one of his favorite places ever! Total WIN for mom!

My kids were rushing me out the door because they didn't want to miss anything. They like to go early so we can look around the castle, chat with some knights, kings and queens, visit the Chamber of Tortures and see the opening procession AND see the Frisian horses.

We arrived in plenty of time to do all these activities. So I would highly recommend you plan to be there an hour before your show begins so that you can enjoy all the castle has to offer as well. There is an additional $2.00 fee(per person) to view the Chamber of Tortures, but this is a section you don't want to miss.

The Horses & Falcon

The stars of the show for my daughters, who happen to be quite fond of horses. The Friesians horses are some of the most beautiful animals on the plant in our opinion. Medieval Times is home to a prized collection of magnificent Pure Spanish Horse stallions that are gorgeous and courageous. They are put to battle in a spectacular show. The Master of Horses, his team and the Knights will present the King, Princess and their guests with several dazzling displays of superior horsemanship during the show.
