School Morning Checklist (FREE PRINTABLE)

These wonderful free back-to-school printables include a School Morning Checklist, an Afternoon School Checklist, and Lunch Notes.

It’s hard to believe that back-to-school is already here. We tried to squeeze in as much summering as we could to the very last day. But, school is here and the kiddos are all deep in work already. However, even though the kids are deep in the trenches of schooling, that doesn't mean their brains are yet.

The brain has a way of creating muscle memory and the summer muscle memories are still firmly in place! It takes about six weeks for the brain to retain all the new schedules. I thought I would create a School Morning Checklist AND an Afternoon School Checklist to alleviate some issues that are already occurring.

How many times have you had to drive a forgotten school lunch to school? How many times have you had to scan a forgotten homework assignment and email or text it to your child? It can be aggravating, especially if you work from home these days.

There are so many things that need to be prepared each day for school and sometimes mornings can be complete chaos. These School Morning Checklists are perfect for any age child. Your child can take a quick peek at the School Morning Checklist and ensure they have everything they need BEFORE they head to the bus or car for the day. Moms can quickly look over the School Morning Checklist as well to double-check their child’s effort — that is until the six-week mark. Then your child’s muscle memory for each item should be firmly in place!

These free back-to-school printables are to inspire your children to be a bit more independent and create some calmness and eliminate the chaos of school mornings. I’ve also included some wonderful little inspiring lunch notes you can include for your child.
