My Thoughts: The story of an Indian boy named Pi, a zookeeper's son who finds himself in the company of a hyena, zebra, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger after a shipwreck sets them adrift in the Pacific Ocean. This story is amazing all around. Visually it is stunning. My daughters are in love with the Meereket scene! This is a family movie spectacular. All my children loved it as well as my husband and I. My kiddos have been talking about it for weeks and are excited to be watching it on the plane soon. The movie is mystical and compelling and never ends, just like Pi. The movie enchants you and the visual effects keep you enchanted. This film really makes one wonder what is possible and what is not. My children are firm believers that Life of Pi is non fiction!
