Ross Dress for Less, the nation’s largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain with over 1,000 stores in 27 states, celebrated its initial entry into the greater Chicago area with the grand opening of 12 new locations in early October. Savvy shoppers will find the same styles and brand names they see at department stores for 20 percent to 60 percent less at the new stores.
New Store Offers Substantial Savings on Fall Styles
Ross makes finding savings on the latest styles easy with frequent shipments of current fashions and brand-name merchandise. Shoppers can find outstanding values on first-quality, in-season apparel, shoes and accessories for the entire family. Ross also offers great values on items for the home, such as bedding, bath towels, rugs, housewares and other décor. Customers will also find a variety of Halloween decorations, including scarecrows, candy, festive dishware and toys.
I recently visited a Ross Dress for Less near my home to see what this store was all about. Firstly, Ross was packed and it was early afternoon. I walked around looking at everything and taking it all in. I found a couple of things to try on. Guess which one I purchased? (Guess which one I am going back to purchase after seeing the photos!)
The quality of the merchandise together with the competitiveness of the prices for the clothing, household items, decorations and seasonal gifts make Ross a better place for gifts than big box and department stores. If you're looking for stocking stuffers or office/hostess gifts, Ross has a variety of great gifts for $5, $10 and $20, including candles, gourmet food baskets, festive holiday serving dishes and candles, toys, fragrances, vases and picture frames. Shoppers looking to give a lot for less will find a variety of options for gifts, all at significant savings!
