Tuesday, September 22 But Momma, But Momma . . .
My daughter recently had her 6th birthday and she was so excited. The entire day I kept hearing . . .
daughter: "Am I six now?"
me: "yes, honey, you are six now"
daughter: "Am I really six now?"
me(Smiling): "Yes, darling, you really are six now."
daughter: "But Momma, but Momma, are you sure I am six now?"
me: "Sweetie, you are six now and will be for one full year."
daughter: "Momma will you still love me if I'm six?"
me: "Oh, sweet girl, of course I will . . . I will love you until you are 100."
son: "Mom, I'll still love you when you are old and wrinkly like grandma, okay?"
me: "Thanks honey"
daughter: "Am I six now?"

OMG that cracked me up! Oh to be six againa nd have awesome cakes and tons of gifts!!! She is absolutely adorable. And at least she said you weren't wrinkly and old now so that's a plus. :0)

Wow that is some impressive cake.
For my daughter's 4th birthday a couple of weeks ago she insisted she didn't want a cake, she didn't want anyone to sing Happy Birthday and she most certainly didn't want to blow out candles.
I had to settle for a large cup cake and her brother was allowed to blow out the candles for her!

Such a fun age! Don't you wish you could freeze them in time to enjoy every moment? They grow up so fast!
