I was finally able to snap off a photo of the baby swans from the nest/egg/swan photo that we tried to capture last month (if you recall my son was chased by the poppa swan and LOVED it!) These baby swans were so elusive after they were born, momma hiding them in the weeds and I could never get close enough to snap off a shot. On Sunday they moved to the retention pond across the street from my house and I was finally able to capture them. They were so cute, cleaning their feathers like momma swan!and Extraordinary Mothers

great pictures! swans are so pretty :-)
great photos!!
I don't think I've ever seen baby swans before.
They are beautiful birds. Are they also as beautiful as neighbors? We used to have peacocks that strolled across our property. Peacocks are beautiful birds, but they sure are messy and although they didn't chase us, they sure gave our cats a hard time.
I do not think I have ever seen baby swans before. Fantastic photos. Happy WW!
How cute..your son like being chased by big daddy swan!! What a boy!!
I though they are young swans not baby swans...they look kind of big.
Happy WW! Ü

Your son probably would not have loved it if that Pappa swan had caught him and they are anything like geese, they can do damage!!! Such beautiful birds though!

They are so beautiful! I always think of the ugly duckling when I see swans though :)

I am pretty sure I have only seen a swan once or twice in my life. So, I KNOW I have never seen baby swans. They are so cute.
Those are big babies! Just looking at that scene is so peaceful and relaxing.

Those pictures of your son being chased are so GREAT. I can't believe you were snapping pictures while he was being chased though. I don't think I would have thought of taking a picture. And the one of your girls, that's pretty funny too.
