we used to LOVE snakes when we were little. Looking back, we probably manhandled them just as much as your little kiddos. Ah! but the joy of discovery! Something they'll never forget!

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

My cousin in New Jersey breeds and sales snakes for a living!
I was surprised when I first touched one, it felt like silk.

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterVicki

Ewww.....I do not like snakes one bit.

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMichelle

My kids are snake charmers too! Well, not really, more like snake torturers! In any case they do not have a fear of all things slimey or reptilian or multi-legged like their mom!

I could not find your blog earlier. I was all confused. So glad to see I could find it tonight!

June 23, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterHappy

Yet another reason I love alaska. No snakes!! (at least, not wild ones, some folks have 'em as pets.)

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterpurplemoose

Brave little ones! I am sure the snake was just fine!

I have one word for you:

AGGGGHHHH!!!

They are crazy brave! :-)

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJennifer

Fun! I adore snakes. I had two snakes for a very long time. When they got so big they had to eat big mice, though, I had to give them up. It was hard enough feeding them pinkies. I miss them, though. I used to love feeling them wrap all around my fingers and hands.

Happy WW from Sara @ The Mostly Wordless Wednesday H.Q.!

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSara Bonds

My kids would have freaked out. My son freaks over bees so I am sure a snake would send him running and screaming. LOL

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterRob

I would have been long gone and not even thought about taking pics!

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterkiddiescorner

They are so brave! There is no way I would have touched a snake when I was little, much less now!!

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterErin @ Closing Time

Looks like they had fun but I'm not sure about the snake.

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSecret Mom Thoughts

OMG, cute AND brave! Great combo! (Yucky snake though, lol)

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered Commentersheila

Oh my goodness, my first thought was that is one brave girl!

Still having the shakes here. But I am sure that snake was ready to be done with them :)

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterSparkette

That looks like fun!

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterKris

Wow, at first I thought it was one of those rubbery things from the prize bin at Chuck E Cheese, lol. That's so cool that they were into that snake and got to play with it. I bet their little minds were on overdrive :D
Awesome pics...your daughter can show them to her boyfriends :P

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterhomeschoolceo

No!!!!!! No!!!!!
Snakes are my biggest irrational fear! NO!!!

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterAmber

Your children are darling--and the snake is bleeehhhhhhh! So it's really saying something on my part when I can say that the pictures, with the looks of fascination and discovery on your babies' faces are just precious! It takes some really, really cute kids to balance out the shiver factor of the snake! ;o)
Blessings!

June 24, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterOctamom

Great pics! My girls love snakes! I can't wait to show them these pics!
