K'NEX Connects with Tiaras Tantrums {Review}

I have the most exciting review to date! I was so happy to be able to participate in this review.

We love K'Nex in this house. My son received a Kid K'NEX set a couple of years ago as a gift(and I have since purchase two more of these little sets) and my girls still play with these! My son received a couple Thrill Ride K'NEXs last year as a Christmas gifts and those was hours (and hours) of great fun.His sisters are still not allowed to touch them. This past summer I bought my son the 400 pc Creatures Tub and that occupied his time on many rainy afternoons. And frankly, I know there are more K'NEX tubs hanging around my house, but I just cannot locate them right now. Yes, we adore K'NEX in this house. So, you can imagine his delight on receiving the K’NEX 400 PCS Tub to review! He instantly went into the basement and brought up his Creatures tub and set to work.

Really, K'NEX has loads of pieces, with directions for many models, however the directions aren't that important--its much more fun to just use the pieces and create, especially to a kid. Fun, fun, fun! My son will be busy for hours and is using his imaginations. My son loved the challenge of translating the 2- dimensional picture into a 3 dimensional object.

K'NEX has provided my children with hours of quiet play time together and is a wonderful opportunity to visualize and interpret what they see. Some pieces are hard for my son to put together, bur this gives me an opportunity to sit and play with my son. He and I, one on one, spending quality time together, doing something he really loves.

The only issue I have with K'NEX is that there are some really small pieces that I tend to vacuum up. But, this has nothing to do with K'NEX and everything to do with the fact that my children don't clean up their toys very well.

My little one was able to review K'NEX Sesame Street Neighborhood Collection Building Set and she was so happy. She adores Elmo (who doesn't really) and she adores ice cream, so the two together are a huge hit. As I stated above, she already play with the Kid K'NEX, so I knew she would really enjoy this one, and she did. Both she and my daughter (who is 6) were able to play with this happily (and with out one little squabble) for over an hour while I helped my son build many masterpieces with his K’NEX 400 PCS Tub. My little one enjoyed this so much that I will be purchasing another set to add to her Christmas stocking.
