I ♥ Faces ~ Bubbles

Hosted at I Faces
Week 32 - Bubbles

My son, the master bubble blower in our family . . . well, he likes to think so . . . since his sisters have yet to master this skill to perfection! My daughter tires quickly from blowing since she uses all her air in one single blow and baby girl, well, she just likes to dump all the liquid out and giggle away about it (it is quite giggle worthy).

This patient boy of mine will sit and try to school his sisters in this lesson of bubble blowing. They have neither the patience nor time to be bothering with this slow learning task of blowing bubbles. But my beautiful son learned bubble blowing at the tender age of two during his many therapy sessions with his occupational therapist. So he will try and try with a gentle voice and the patience of a saint to coerce his sisters to correctly learn the art of blowing bubbles.

He is a Master of Bubbles!

Aw! So glad to hear that your son got through the whole speech thing and is the top of his class in reading. Very encouraging considering that my son is very slow to talk. We haven't gotten him into speech yet, but we probably will have to.

Great picture. It was really nice to read the story behind the picture.

He sounds like a wonderful brother to the girls...and he does look like the perfect bubble blower:)

Pam D August 16, 2009 11:03 PM

Very cool.... especially with the story behind it! I love the way you caught the bubble just as it was exiting the wand. And the story makes me think of "wax on..wax off".. the patience of the master in "Karate Kid". Your boy will have 'em blowing bubbles soon enough! Beautiful, as always...

I love how big his head is and how tiny the wand and bubble are. Great photo!

Gorgeous and what a wonderful story!! I love the depth of field and for some reason, I absolutely love his hair?? Kind of a weird thing to notice, but I love the way you positioned him with the sun reflecting off of his head. Great job!

kids and bubbles are the sweetest combo! my daughter wants to learn, but she lacks that "older kid" finesse:)

thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your perspective on breastfeeding toddlers. i'm so glad you were able to bf your younger kids as long as you both wanted!

Lovely picture! My kids were doing some great bubble blowing yesterday. If I weren't wearing gardening gloves and if they weren't covered in dirt... I totally would have captured some great shots. ;)
