WW ~ Peking Duck

I have a taste for Peking duck . . . from Beijing . . . real Peking duck . . . my mouth has been watering for days . . . can you see why? I think I need a quick trip to China!
Really THE most delicious duck you will ever have in your life!

I like the sauce with goes with the duck. Sometimes u get to eat the skin instead of the meat.

Peking Duck is one of my favorite Chinese food at all times!! It's looking too delicious :P

p/s: The Man at home calls me on his cellphone from the home bathroom for shampoo...LOL

That sure does look yummy. I wish I could have duck. There is something in duck that makes my asthma act up. :o(

okay, I must admit I have never tasted duck. I know, probably ridiculous. I just never tried it, but that first photo looks soooo YUMMY!

It "looks" great but all the duck I've ever had has been so greasy! A quick trip to China....ha.....I bet you have some amazing pics from living there!

Yummy! Everytime my mom travels to China, she makes sure she brings home a peking duck. I love it with hoisin sauce and spring onions.

deb - I have yet to find anything near me - but I HAVE not tried China Town in the city - which I am sure would be superb!

sara - I am not sure why they wore the masks - more for cleanliness I am sure - just a fancy restaurant in beijing

maria - I'd like to know HOW your mom gets a peking duck past customs????

I can't believe how many people who commented have never eaten duck--myself included (vegetarian).

It looks good though, especially the sweet glaze that's on it.

The restaurant where she buys the peking duck packs it really well, then she hand carries it. she's had no problems with customs. :D
