It's A Naked Christmas
I have to say I don't even remember this picture being taken. The date is November 2006. I know during that time period I was in the trenches of severly clogged milk ducts, repeated Masetitis, bloody nip*les, hypothyroidism (diagnosed during pregnancy, still have-kicks your arse in a major way), an angry husband, a five-month old baby with acid reflux, a very fiesty three year old daughter and an extremely gifted five year old son with SID (Sensory Integretation Disorder).
Don't ask me how I survived it, I don't even know. My house was still cleaned, albeit not everyday like hubbie was used too. (I hired a cleaning service every other week~she saved my sanity really) I served a lot of frozen pizza. I walked delicately for my burdened boobies where aching most days, for months on end. I didn't ask for help from anyone. The one time I did, I was berated for still breastfeeding. There was no other alternative for me. I am a breastfeeding momma, and that.is.it. I never really told my husband how much pain I was in. It amazes me that he didn't have a clue.
So this picture must have been taken by hubbie. I have no clue where I was. Laying down with a heating pad on one side and a baby on the other I am sure! He captured these two hooligans decorated the Christmas tree - naked! So funny! So cute! So hilarious! Especially when I drag it out in 20 years!! I will still be laughing!

31 other tantrums:
ROFLOL! Funny boys! and I'm in pain just thinking about nursing troubles. It took me 4 kids to finally figure it out!
Oh this pic WILL be priceless, and hilariuos, when you take it out twenty years from now...possibly when they have boy/girlfriends over! Tee hee!!
That is HILLARIOUS!!! Definitely one of those Black Mail pictures lmao. So sorry you had to go through all of that at the same time though. What a horrible way to prepare for the holidays.
Yes, definitely drag that out to show their future fiancees!!
Cleaning ladies & frozen pizzas are my lifeline too! :D Awesome shot. Too cute! :D

My Dear TnT,
He is wearing nothing but a tat! I love this picture. There's your Christmas card!
That pic is priceless! There's nothing like decorating the Christmas tree naked!!
I suddenly want to start singing "Silver Bells"... hehehehe.
Oh. my. goodness. That is a lot to deal with at one time! We had a year kind of like that. I don't remember much about it either...probably better that way!
Such a cute photo. That will be even funnier when you show their high school girl friends.
Love it!! That will make aome great blackmail in 20 years for sure.
That is so funny! I commend you for sticking with the BFing throughout all that. I had the same sort of problems when I had my first and I only lasted three months. With my son I did much better. I lasted 16 months:)
LOL - I love this picture - truly priceless!
I would have to frame this one and put it out EVERY Christams.
Definitely a good picture to bust out at those two's rehearsal dinners some day.
I'm glad you made it through the tough times in breastfeeding. I didn't have a horrible experience, but when my little one wouldn't quite finish her business I was miserable until the next feeding. I don't know how you put up with it.
Oh, my, goodness. That's what my house looks like right now when my daughter gets home from the pool. The bathing suit comes off and she doesn't put anything on until it's time for bed.
They will KILL you in 15-20 years when this get brought out! :)
Your sons are awesome. The younger one looks like he's singing Christmas Carols. Going with kid mentallity, its always more fun when you can do things naked. I wonder if dad put them up to it?
its amazing what we can survive.
this is a really cute picture.
I can't stop thinking what I would do if I had this pic of my kids. LOL, I have a few & they know I know how to use them!!!!!
Holy smokes batgirl! Amazing what we can survive.
And that picture? It's freaking amazing too:)
Oh yeah, that is DEFINITELY a keeper to bring out when they are all grown. How HILARIOUS! The mastitis though? OUCH.
Thanks for playing PSF - I loved this story.
This photo is wonderful!!! Just love it!!!!
Lol! That is priceless!
Funny photo!
(I don't know how you got through it either?)
That is a great picture!! (we are stronger then we know)!
totally fab christmas card! but wait till they're about 15 for full effect ;)
the nursing part... yeah, I hear ya there. it's amazing what you can live through!
I lOVE your header!
Such a fun photo...but I'm sorry about the breastfeeding woes...I LOVE breastfeeding...but I really think it should have been a MORE natural process...SO painful for those first few weeks and THEN if you have problems!!! So totally worth it in the end!
How cute are they? Maybe they are hoping Santa brings them new clothes for Christmas....
it's amazing how we have the ability to survive such testing times
Too funny (the picture, not all you were going through). I like Carrie's idea as a Christmas card.
Okay, you made my boobies hurt just reading this post! Great PSF!!
Owie, you're a trooper. That photo is hilarious. I would never think of nakedness and xmas together and well here it is.
